DONT LET HIM IN (also titled [MONSTER REVAMP] DON’T LET HIM IN) is a free Roblox co-op survival horror place by dilly dally games. You and your friends hold a house against The Locust — a creature design credited to DoctorNowhere, with Boiled One / Boy and the Bath also credited — until morning around 6 AM. The Locust does not breach lit areas. Your job is to keep doors and windows shut, keep power and floodlights alive, use a flashlight and batteries when needed, and hide if the house goes dark with the monster inside.

Confirm you are in the right game

Roblox search is noisy. Older don’t let him in burglar / Dominus nights, Don’t Let Her In, and House of The Locust are different places with different goals. Platforms, price, and party setup

The game is free on Roblox and playable on PC, mobile, console, and other supported devices. Turn volume up — audio cues for footsteps, windows, and power matter as much as visuals. Voice chat is strongly recommended for co-op: call out which door or window opened, who is on breaker duty, and when someone needs a revive. Win condition in one sentence

Survive until morning (~6 AM) without letting The Locust permanently take the house. Closing entries and keeping light on denial zones does most of the work. If The Locust gets inside, the house can darken — hide, stay quiet, crouch, and recover when it is safe. A clean win is a full night of successful denial plus one or two calm recoveries, not a perfect zero-mistake speedrun.

First five minutes checklist

1. Spawn and orient: find main doors, windows, floodlight controls or lit exterior zones, and the breaker / power area.
2. Loot batteries for the flashlight early; empty flashlights fail when you need a scare or a path outside.
3. Assign sides of the house if you have teammates — one person should not chase every sound alone.
4. Confirm which rooms you will keep lit and which paths stay dark on purpose so you do not waste power.
5. Agree on a hide plan: closets and pantry locations before panic. Details in Hiding Spots.
6. Agree who leaves the house if the cable is cut — outdoor runs are the deadliest chores. Details in Power and Floodlights.

Controls and habits that matter

Learn sprint (Shift or the mobile sprint control), crouch / quiet movement for hides, interact for doors, windows, breaker, and flashlight toggle. On mobile, raise brightness carefully so you can see UI without washing out dark rooms. Practice closing a door or window the moment it opens — delay is how The Locust earns a breach. Practice flashlight pulses: batteries are finite, so do not spam endlessly; save charge for windows, outdoor repairs, and emergency scare / repel moments.

Light is the tutorial

Remember the rule painted into the experience: The Locust does not breach lit areas. Floodlights and maintained house lighting create safe denial zones. When power fails, those zones collapse and every dark entry becomes a threat. Your beginner priority is not fancy movement tech — it is understanding that light equals walls. Once that clicks, the rest of the wiki (especially Power and Floodlights) becomes much easier to apply.

What a first night feels like

Early evening is learning the floor plan. Mid night is reaction: windows and doors open, you close them, someone shouts a location. Late night is attrition: batteries low, power may fail, someone may need to go outside, and The Locust may get inside once. If the house darkens, do not hero-peek every hallway. Commit to a known closet or pantry, crouch, stay quiet, and wait for teammates to reset lights and revive if needed. After a scare, reset roles instead of everyone clustering on one window.

Common beginner mistakes

• Treating this like the burglar Dominus game and ignoring floodlights.
• Leaving windows open because you are mid-conversation.
• Burning all flashlight battery in the first panic.
• Sending the whole squad outside for a cable fix so nobody watches doors.
• Panicking in the open when The Locust is already inside instead of hiding.
